How do I add items to a customer’s registry at their request?

You will need to have your Product Feed uploaded. To import your Product Feed, go to Registry Setup in your partner Dashboard. To get to Registry Setup, click the gift icon in the left navigation menu. Select Retail Location Setup and then Product Feed under Store Set Up Wizard and follow the instructions. Once this step is completed, go to Customer Support and search for the registry you would like to update. Click Details/Edit Info to the right of the search result, then Gift List. There, you will see the +Add a Gift option.
