It’s an add-on feature that works to minimize returns. When a guest purchases a gift off a registry, it’ll automatically be marked as purchased as soon as the transaction is made. Since the guest won’t have to do it themselves, there’s less of a chance of duplicate gifts being bought, which, in turn, means fewer returns for you.
